The annual Select Committee on the Presidency (or, depending on who you talk to, the Select Committee on National Archives and Records Administration) is meeting at the White House today, and Donald Trump is not at the meetings. He won’t be there through Friday’s meetings either, so there might be a larger ovation.
WH spokesperson Raj Shah said on Sunday that the meetings will be private.

Trump says he will be hosting friends, family and others for the dinner in the residence. In the past, guests have included Neil Gorsuch, Eric Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Mike and Melania Trump and their son, Barron.
